BEST KEPT SECRET ON THE WEST COAST OF VANCOUVER ISLAND

   Hello {tag:firstname},

Cathy’s Celebration of Life was magical!!!

Bishop Gary Gorgon masterfully made this delicate event joyous

and deeply moving for the 200+ attendees.

Bishop Gary has had a long term relationship with Cathy & I.

He has many touching stories of Cathy and her relationship with God!

While sharing a few of these stories a beautiful rainbow appeared

in front of the Marina.

Add to that- Bald Eagles where soaring in circles above the deck.

Yes She was there with us and smiling down upon us ALL!

There were many notable friends, neighbours, customers and family

who spoke about their memories of Cathy. Three are mentioned here.

Lisa Greer- as a young girl she was mentored by Cathy “Yes You Can Do It”

Brennan Falavolito - nearly 16yr old Grandson “Loved, Missed, Nurtured”

Mike Cunningham- Comox/Mexico friend “Quad, Cards, Fish, Enjoy Life!

We raised $4,650 in donations for the Campbell River Cancer Society

in memory of Cathy. Thank you ALL for your participation!

Cathy was a Beautiful and a Smart Woman in many ways.

She made me, her husband, a better man during our many years together.

No matter what the future brings she will remain in my heart forever. John

Thanks to you ALL for the hundreds of emails, cards & phone calls

Your support and condolences are much appreciated - John

One of our notable sayings is:
"It's All About the Fish" - this is very TRUE

But it also is:

"About how the Fish bring Us together as Friends/Family"
Thank You All,
John

Fishing/Catching for Halibut, Ling Cod & All other bottom Fish is over the TOP GOOD!!!!

The season opened on April 1st for Halibut and Ling Cod.

Many customers were fishing for prawns and then found the Hali & Ling catching a real bonus!

We started chartering season on May 11th this year. Right out of the blocks we noted that Halibut and Ling Cod were very abundant both in Nootka Sound and Esperanza Inlet. Catching continues to be strong at the time of this writing.

Average size of Halibut 40-20lbs. Ling average size 25-15

Rockfish are long lifers often not maturing to spawn until age 30.

Please using this a descender device when you return these fish to the water.

By using this device you are saving future generations of Rock fish.

If you have not yet made your reservations Moorage, Lodging, Charters or Kayak Rentals we highly recommend you do it SOON!

Before we have no room at the INN! Thank You!
