2017 Salmon Enhancement Derby was a roaring Success!!!

Yes we raised $40,333.33

Yes that is the largest amount ever raised by this Derby

Yes that is $4,588.33 higher than 2017

Yes lots more volunteers involved in the inter-workings of putting on the event. And raising the $$$

Yes it is a 12.8+% increase over 2017

Yes some of the best weather & tides ever for Fishing/Catching at the Derby

Yes the 1^st Chinook weight in on the 1^st day at 10am Won the Chinook 1^st place.

Yes Area 25 (Nootka/Esperanza) benefits Greatly as a direct result of the derby

Yes 6 regional rivers & local hatcheries in Area 25 will receive funding.

Yes 2 million additional salmon will be put into Area 25’s waters.

		Bishop Gary Gordon - Thank You for stepping up to be the MC at the Derby. Taking Charge with over 200 people in the room is what Bishop Gary does "WELL" Frank Collins (seated behind Bishop Gary) was Honored for his many years of Service as a Volunteer and President of the Tahsis Salmon Enhancement Society the Bishop the MC

	This was Tom's 1st Chinook "EVER" He is one HAPPY Guy. He & his crew have already Booked their 2018 Fishing/Catching trip.	Josh with his prize Catch of the Day!     Fun, Fun, Fun! The Smile Says it ALL!
