“March 21st is the First Day of SPRING 2016”Westveiw Marina & Lodge will open in 12 DAYS Westview Marina & Lodges 24th yr. of service to the Cruising & Fishing Public At the March 15th SEASON OPENING the fuel dock, tackle shop, Lodging, coffee/ice cream shop, marine mechanic shop & moorage will ALL be available to serve you. 2016 Charter All Inclusive Pkgs. Limited time offer. 2016 Charter All Inclusive Pkg. is for a party of 4. It includes- 3nights of accommodations, 2 Full Days of Guided Fishing/Catching of Salmon, Halibut & Ling Cod. All your meals while you are with us. COST per person is $850 ea. CA Dollars (note below for US $$) for a party of 4. That is a $305 saving over regular price pkg. Book Now there are a limited Quantity of this Fishing Trips available. Booking dates that are available June 1- July 15. Must be booked & paid for by March 31, 2016 no other specials apply. “CATCH OF THE DAY!” The rain was pouring down on this May day in Tahsis. Standing in front of a big puddle in Westview Marina & Lodge parking lot, known to the staff, as Lake Cathy, was an old man, drenched, holding a fishing pole and dangling a fishing line into Lake Cathy. Passer-by headed for the Marina Patio Pub stopped and asked, “What are you doing” “Fishing” – replied the old man. Feeling sorry for the old man, the gent says, “Come down to the dock and out of this rain we’ll have a drink together”. In the warmth of the dry patio near one of the deck heaters, as they sipped their Baily’s coffee, the gentleman could not resist asking, “So how many have you caught today?” Old man says, “You’re the eighth today. Got My limit again”
