WE have been asked a lot about Mike Mitchell Editor & Host of the BCOutdoor TV Shows
visit on August 10-12th.
Mike Arrived Monday night, Fished Tuesday & Wednesday. The entire group Limited on
Chinook each Day. Also caught lots of Coho.
Here are just some of the many comments over the 2.5 day visit:
Mike- Wow I had no idea what a Great Full Service Marina & Lodge Cathy & John have
here in Tahsis
Mike- 25 minutes from the Marina drop the lines & a double on the 1st pass.
Mike- My son, Caleb most always out fishes me on trips like this.
Caleb- Yep out fished dad again except when I was sleeping on the boat.
Mike- Wow we have enough footage in the 1st day for a GREAT SHOW.
Mike- only 4.5 hours once you get off the ferry in Nanaimo to Westview.
Brian- our head guide- What a Great Guy & He really Knows how to FISH!
Brian- Caleb is a Great Young Guy to have on the boat lots of enthusiasm.
Mike- What a Great Guide. Very Patient especially with the young fellow.
Mike- people have no idea How GOOD the Fishing/Catching is HERE in Tahsis.
Mike- I had no idea how close Westview is to major road systems & how close the fishing grounds
are to Westview.

Very sportive of Salmon Enhancement. Sits on the board of the Pacific Salmon Foundation.

Mike & his production crew will be back next year for another FISHING ADVENTURE!!!
Airing of the show will be in November on stations across Canada & USA.
We will keep you posted on the airing. Kelli the show's producer has promised us a 3-4 minute
sneak preview which we will share with you when it arrives.
