WESTVIEW MARINA & LODGE 2015 Westview Marina & Lodge (WVM&L) is starting its 23rd year of service. It is the only full service marina serving the Private Sport Fishing Boaters, Guide Operators & Cruising Vessels up to 160 ft. in Nootka Sound and Esperanza Inlet on the northwest coast of Vancouver Island. WVM&L is in the heart of the most productive Salmon and Halibut Fishing grounds in Western Canada. Bring your own boat, fish with our professional guided boats (fully inclusive pkg. also available) or rent one of our new 24ft fishing boats completely outfitted with a capacity up to 4. We can provide you with detailed GPS coordinates and local fishing info that will Guaranty Your Fishing/Catching Success.
Our services are extensive: Lodging - we have everything from staying on your boat (power & water hook ups available), cabins, on the water suites, and housing above the marina and around the town with hot tubs & saunas. Most lodging comes with complete cooking facilities. Restaurants – we have lots of options. The Marina Grillhouse Restaurant serves everything from Sandwiches, Burgers, Pasta, Steak and Seafood lunch & dinner. The Island Attitude Coffee Café has Breakfast, Hardy box lunches, Beverages & Ice Cream. The Marina Patio Deck Pub has Beer on tap & bottle, Okanagan Wines, Margaritas, Tequila, Special Coffees & most other mixed drinks. “The beauty of WVM&L is you decide how and when you want to Fish/Catch, the type of lodging you want & when/what meals you choose to eat and drink.” Other Services – Full time Marine Mechanics, Fuel - diesel & gas, Tackle, Bait, Ice, Fishing Licences, ECO tours, Kayak rentals.
WVM&L is located in a pristine wilderness area which is one of the many reasons why the fishing is so good and the wildlife is so abundant. Situated in the seaside Village of Tahsis, the Historic Birth Place of British Columbia, we are accessible by road or seaplane. By road it is 5hrs from the Nanaimo ferries, 3hrs from Comox & 2hrs from Campbell River airports. By seaplane we can be accessed from Vancouver, Nanaimo Ca, & Renton/Seattle Wa.
