As preperations for the evenings celibrations went under way.
All the boats had been unloaded
and all the fish had been recorded.
The door's of the Spar Tree opened wide
as many a fishermen went inside.

This Year it was a tie between Scotty Gibb and Russ Anderson, you'll have to ask them for their BS... I mean stories

The runners up in the Fish Dance, they came in second to...

...the fishy stylings of Marcus Bannon and Pat Cyr.

Marcus Bannon and his fishin' friends from California with one of the Spar Tree waitresse, hanging out at the Wrap-Up party and having a good time.

And Gary Pegrin collects his prize... a gaff. Careful Gary.. you are waving it a bit TOO enthusiastically, and a bit TOO close to Cathy!

2005 Derby, Friday's entertainment

What could be entertaining all these people?, A bird?

Loony Luna, the killer whale?

A fish swimming around with a balloon tied to it?

No! the man with the big hat came back.

Thats right on the first day of Westview Marina's anual Fishing Derby, Friday the 19th of August, Kenny Shaw came back to entertain lots of tiered fishers, and their families during the Buffet Mexican Dinner, with his musical comic stylings and impersonations ranging from Bill Clinton to Red Green.
